New Life Camp ministers to children and families from a diversity of ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, schooling, and life pursuits. We offer a variety of different programs and activities all year long including camps, homeschool enrichment, athletics, and special monthly events that reach our community. Full Time Staff Positions

2025 Summer Camp Positions
- The applicant must know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior
- The counselor will be paired up with a co-counselor to lead 23-25 campers per week.
- The counselor will love, accept and introduce children to Jesus Christ and equip them to live lives that glorify God.
- The counselor will be responsible for the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health of each camper.
- The counselor will supervise their campers’ activities and know where they are at all times.
- The counselor will enforce camp policies, procedures and rules.
- The counselor will lead their campers in competing for Honor Cabin.
- The counselor will mentor Counselors-In-Training.
- The counselor will be expected to stay overnight.
- The applicant must know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

- The counselor will be expected to arrive by 7:45am and leave at 6:00pm.
- The applicant must know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
- Program Staff will be placed on a team to be responsible for facets of the program (Cleaning, Fishing, Setup, Table Setting, Archery…)
- In addition, most Program Staff will be assigned a huddle or cabin to join for periods of time in order to give a counselor a break or added supervision.
- The Program Staff will supervise camper activities.
- The Program Staff will enforce camp policies, procedures, and rules.
- The Program Staff will mentor Program Staff-In-Training (PSIT).
- The Program Staff will be expected to stay overnight.
- Intern must be a high school graduate as of June 2025.
- FAPs serve both Overnight Campers and Day Campers, and thus are required to spend the night.
- The intern will receive training, communication and support all summer long from a certified nurse.
- The intern will administer first aid to campers and staff.
- The intern will administer medication.
- The intern will process medical forms.
- The Intern is responsible for capturing daily life at camp and making images available to parents through the online parent portal and social media. Images will also be used for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Though not required, videography experience will enhance your application.
- Each application will be asked to submit a portfolio or work, preferably containing posed and candid pictures alike. If the applicant has produced videos they should submit these as well.
- The Intern is a summer staff position and will be expected to stay at camp overnight.
- The Intern will ideally capture a photo of each of the 250 campers on-site each day whether in large group, small group or individual shots.
- The Intern will be tasked with taking cabin and huddle photos for purchase.
- The intern will be tasked with capturing events (Activities, Meals, Assemblies…)
- The intern will watermark each photo that will be opened to public access.
- The intern will be exposed to editing.
- If accepted, the Lifeguard must have a current Lifeguard certification.
- New Life Camp will cover the cost of Lifeguard Certification Training up to $250, to be reimbursed after the Lifeguard’s sixth week on duty.
- Lifeguards will show proof of Lifeguard Certification before their first pool or lake duty.
- Lifeguards will take part in training exercises and drills throughout the summer.
- Lifeguards will supervise the pool or lake.
- Lifeguards will enforce policies, procedures, and rules at the pool and lake.
- Lifeguards will prevent accidents from happening.
- Lifeguards will provide rescue and emergency care.
- Primary lifeguards will work 18-25 hours per week, weather permitting.
- Secondary lifeguards will work 10-18 hours per week, weather permitting.
- Tertiary lifeguards will fill holes as needed.
- This is a part time position. You would be one of several receptionists on a rotating team.
- The position is based on 3 seasons: Winter/Spring, Summer, and Fall. Hours will vary during those seasons and will be arranged with the applicant’s schedule.
- The applicant must have excellent people skills. Often, the Receptionist is the first and primary contact that families and vendors have with New Life Camp.
- The applicant must be organized and productive. While Receptionists will be trained on the following, a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is beneficial.
- Additional tasks:
- Answering phones
- Responding to emails
- Customer services with visitors
- Receiving and organizing packages
- Signing campers in and out

- An alternate is willing to be on call during the week indicated.
- As being contacted to help during a certain week could occur with little notice, they are not obligated to fill any given position.
- If they agree to fill a position, the salary for their time here would be dependent on:
- Position held
- Orientation sessions completed; Orientation sessions are not required for Alternates, but completing sessions increases pay rate.

Timeline
- October – Accepting applications for New Staff who are college age
- November – Accepting applications for Returning Staff and Age 18 or over
- December – Accepting applications from: Age 17 or older
- January – Accepting applications from: Age 16 or older
- February – Accepting applications from: Age 15 or older
Pay
- A Summer Staff could make as much as $425/week in Overnight camp their first summer.
- A Summer Staff could make as much as $300/week in Day Camp their first summer.
- Applicants can apply for as many weeks as they would like. (There are 8 total Overnight Camp weeks and 9 total Day Camp weeks.)
LEARN Positions
Qualifications
- Applicant must be a high school graduate with expertise in the field of study they desire to teach.
- Applicant must know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
- Applicant will be interviewed for position.
Commitment
- Teach in-person class for 1.5 hour a week for 32 weeks to homeschool students.
- Classes will be held early September through early May.
Positions
We are primarily looking for instructors to teach the following classes:
- Physical Science for 7th-9th grade students
We have hired our instructors for the fall, but you are welcome to apply in case there is a new opening or you have interest for the spring.
Qualifications
- Applicant must be a high school graduate with expertise in the field of study they desire to teach.

- Applicant will be interviewed for position.
Commitment
- Teach in-person club for 1-1.25 hours per week for 10 weeks.
- We have two separate semesters for the fall and spring:
- Fall: mid-September to mid-November
- Spring: mid-January to end of March
- Teaching both semesters is not required but encouraged.
Qualifications
- The applicant must be at least 15 years old before the start of the semester.
- Applicant must know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
- Applicant will be interviewed for position.
Commitment
- Oversee and assist children with activities for 4 hours in the morning and/or 2.5 hours in the afternoon.
- Activities meet for 12 weeks per semester.
- We have two separate semesters for the fall and spring:
- You are not required to commit to both semesters, but it is encouraged.
Rentals
The Rentals Staff at New Life Camp is a key position within the guest services team. This position is the main point of contact with the rental regarding basic camp functions. The rentals staff is also responsible for maintaining the camp facilities during and immediately following the rental. For overnight rentals, you will be staying overnight. Knowledge and/or the willingness to learn the basic camp functions is essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Main point of contact for rental while at camp.
- Presence during rental activities.
- Maintaining tidiness throughout rental’s stay.
- Thorough cleaning following the rental’s departure.
- Scheduled trash runs throughout the rental’s stay.
- Assist rental in locating reserved equipment and spacing.
- Communicate with full-time staff as needed.
