Home School

New Life Camp offers a wide range of activities from fall to spring to homeschooled students of all ages.  All activities are supervised by trained Christian staff who desire to serve the Lord and minister to children. In every activity we offer, it is our desire to teach the truths of the Word of God, making each activity exciting and excellent.

LEARN Academics

These activities are designed to supplement parental instruction in academic related courses for students who are in 6th-12th grade. Each activity is presented and taught from a Biblical worldview.

Activities include: English and Literature, Foreign Language, Electives, Math, Science and Social Studies.

2022-2023 LEARN Academics COVID-19 Refund Policy

  • New Life Camp follows health guidelines recommended by CDC and ACA and mandates required by the NC Department of Health and Human Services and Wake County Health and Human Services.
  • There will be no refunds on the minimum deposit for reasons related to these guidelines or mandates; by registering, you are committing to the program under any restrictions that may be put in place, if camp is still operational under those restrictions.
  • Cancellation prior to the second day of activities – full refund less $150 registration fee per activity. If there is an outstanding balance for the participant, the refund will be applied to that balance.
  • Cancellation after second day of activities and before third day of activities – full refund less $175 administrative fee per activity. If there is an outstanding balance for the participant, the refund will be applied to that balance.
  • Cancellation after the third day of activities – no refund.
  • We will frequently and transparently communicate with you along the way, and we welcome your input and feedback also.

Other Policies

Home School Graduation

  • This is a parent-led-and-organized ceremony in affiliation with New Life Camp that takes place at the camp.
  • Home school seniors who have participated in a New Life Camp program such as LEARN Home School, Storm Athletics, or Summer Camp are eligible.
  • An initial virtual meeting will take place at no charge for parents who are interested in the details, costs, etc. This virtual meeting will take place on Saturday, November 5th at 9:30am.
  • The 2023 ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 20th at 2:00pm.

LEARN Clubs

These activities provide a variety of electives for homeschooled students ages 4-13.  The LEARN Club instructor will engage the student in fun exploration and hands-on activities while intertwining Biblical truths to encourage a love for learning.

  • LEARN Clubs topics are: Science, Physical Education/Recreation, Fine Arts and Hobbies, and Outdoor Clubs.
  • LEARN Clubs are arranged by age for roughly 5 hours of activity time, which include snack time and lunch time.

  • Spring Fun Club (3 Week Program): Thursdays, March 30th, April 6th, & April 13th
  • Final Week of Winter/Spring Play & Learn 1 & 2 Clubs: Tuesday-Thursday, April 11th-13th
